Webbing Dedicated Static IP Connectivity
The Webbing Static IP service provides a fixed, non-changing IP address for compatible Webbing SIM cards. This allows devices to be accessed consistently over the internet without relying on dynamic IP changes.
A static IP is commonly required for professional installations where direct remote access, port forwarding, or secure inbound connections are needed.
Supported Applications
Webbing Static IP addresses are commonly used in:
- 4G / LTE CCTV cameras and NVRs
- Remote access to routers and network equipment
- VPN connections and secure tunnels
- Server access and hosted applications
- Managed IoT and remote monitoring deployments
This service is suitable for both high data devices and low data IoT systems that require predictable, always-reachable connectivity.
Service Requirements
The Webbing Static IP service is available for eligible Webbing DATA SIM and Webbing IoT SIM cards and requires:
- A compatible Webbing SIM card
- Active Webbing platform access, registered by Surveila Technologies
- Prepaid annual renewal, paid in advance, to maintain static IP allocation
Static IP addresses are assigned per SIM and remain active while the service period is valid.
Coverage and Availability
Webbing Static IP services are available for South African deployments only, in line with Webbing network coverage.
