Webbing IoT SIM Card Renewal

Renew your existing Webbing IoT SIM card and maintain seamless connectivity without needing to purchase a new SIM. Webbing will send automated email reminders as your term approaches expiry or when your data allowance runs low giving you ample time to renew and avoid interruptions.

To complete your renewal, simply enter your SIM’s ICCID number (starting with 89852 35..) and choose a bundle that suits your needs with the option of adding or renewing a Static IP. Once processed, your SIM will be renewed and activated for a fresh fixed term.

What’s Included

Two Fixed Term IoT Data Bundle options (Data-only – no voice or browsing):

• 2400MB over 2 years (~100MB monthly) 
• 1440MB over 3 years (~40MB monthly)

Your existing data usage link will continue to operate as normal.

If you have multiple SIM cards or require SMS functionality, our team will set up a Webbing Management Profile for you. This provides free access to the SIM Management Portal where you can manage your SIMs, send free SMS messages (portal to device), 24/7 support, and more.

If your device requires more than 100MB per month, consider our Webbing Data SIM Card for flexible high-usage connectivity.

Important Notes

• This product does not include a new SIM card – it is only valid for existing Webbing IoT SIMs with ICCID starting 89852 35.
• Renewal is required once either the data is depleted or the term expires (whichever comes first).
• Service is limited to South Africa.
• Optional extras: Webbing Portal access and Static IP (for multi-SIM or advanced use cases).

Difference Between Webbing ‘IoT’ SIM and ‘DATA’ SIM

Webbing IoT SIM

The Webbing IoT SIM is a once-off purchase that includes both a Webbing SIM card and a fixed-term, fixed-data bundle. It is a low data solution designed for devices such as smart alarm systems, GPS trackers, PTT radios, and IoT sensors that transmit small amounts of data predictably over long periods.

When either the data allowance or the term expires, the SIM can be renewed for a new fixed term or converted to a Webbing DATA SIM if higher data usage is required.

Webbing DATA SIM

The Webbing DATA SIM is designed for moderate to high data applications such as 4G CCTV cameras, LTE routers and smart home hubs. DATA SIMs operate on a flexible data model, with data bundles valid for 24 months, subject to an active annual Webbing platform fee.

Additional data can be purchased as required via online data top-ups making this option ideal for devices with variable or higher data usage.
